Magic Trick Nut and Bolt Trick *Just 16g*

This is a 3D printable version of a magic trick my granddad made by sawing and filing a brass bolt.  It always fascinated me growing up and bringing it back to life as a 3D model has made me really appreciate the careful thought and planning that must have gone in to this design.  It took me numerous attempts to get it to work before I came up with the final version and I nearly settled on a design that was less than perfect.  Thankfully, it all came together in the end and it works really well.

It's great as a magic trick and super fun as a fidget toy as well.

The idea is to challenge someone to remove the washer.  The problem is that the nut only tightens on to the bolt and won't loosen.  The trick is that the nut locks if you try to unscrew it unless you hold the opposite end of the bolt.

To assemble it, you just need to put the two halves of the bolt together where they are cut and screw the bolt on to it so it holds the two parts of the bolt together and hides the join.

Assembled the bolt is 6.8cm long.  The thread is 1.75cm wide and the bolt is 2.75cm wide.

The whole model uses less than 16g of filament.
