Here is an adaptable frame model.
Photos 1 to 5:
I designed it for a puzzle of 68x48cm.
Note: A version for a 96x68cm puzzle is coming soon.
To properly secure my puzzle without gluing it, I added a 3mm thick wooden plate to the back of the puzzle and a 2.5mm thick transparent plate to the front. Thus, the whole assembly (2mm thick puzzle, wooden plate and transparent plate) measures 6.5mm thick. I designed the frame with a 7mm thickness gap, so there is some play.
Note: A version with a greater thickness is coming soon.
Photos 6 to 8:
To assemble the different parts of the frame, I provided 4mm diameter holes in which I inserted M3 inserts (see spare parts) with a soldering iron. Then, I used M3x20 screws to secure everything. But you can also use smaller screws (up to M3x16) depending on the depth at which you insert your inserts:

Photos 9 and 10:
For wall mounting, I provided space for M4 to M6 screws, but if your screws are smaller, you can add a washer.
For my part, I fixed it to the wall with M5 Molly bolts.

If you wish to adapt my model, you will find a set of attached files:
- All parts in STL format
- All parts in STEP format
- A ZIP file containing the parts and assemblies in 3DXML format (SolidWorks under 3DExperience).
In addition, you will notice the presence of an additional part: Cross Connector. This is a part that I designed to make a larger puzzle. It helps to consolidate the frame and connect the different parts. I haven't tested it yet so it's at your own risk.

That's it, I hope my work will be useful to you.
While waiting to add new printing profiles, I look forward to seeing your feedback!
