Description

Makes a great teacher gift, print 1 design or all 4 designs your choice or any variation as such. Holder holds 4 coasters. These are made to print facedown. I used a bambu pei textured plate for a nice finish. Any teacher would love these

UPDATE: 6/8/2025 per feedback I have uploaded 2 additional optimized profiles with less color changes and same great detail, saving about 2 hours per 4 coasters. Enjoy :)

NEW OPTIMIZED - White - Less color changes same great detail

Love the model! Printed 4 mix-and-match batches for my daughter’s preschool teachers. Giving you a boost for the elegant design, but docking 1 star for the print profile. It uses unmentioned custom ironing, adding an extra 2 hours per print and leaving the Bambu PLA Matte coaster's backs and PETG tray surfaces rough. See attached pics zoomed in to show the finish quality. Uncalibrated ironing can ruin surfaces; please mention it or upload a no-ironing profile. They're still giftable and teachers will love them! Thanks for sharing your design.

Thanks for the feedback! The surface texture shown isn’t caused by ironing — ironing produces smooth, directional lines, not the random bumps and speckled roughness in your photo. What you’re seeing is far more consistent with nozzle contamination or a slight partial clog, which can leave behind tiny deposits and uneven patches. The profile’s ironing behavior is standard and wouldn’t create this kind of pattern. I have however uploaded a profile without ironing as some others have mentioned it as well, its a personal preference but now can be click - print :)

Very sweet project for an end of the year teacher gift! I just got my X2D and am brand new to printing. I only had 3 colors of filament to start and two just happened to be black and white🤣 They printed perfectly using PLA White and PLA Matte Black. Thank you for the profile!!

NEW OPTIMIZED - Black - Less color changes same great detail

Printed perfect. The coasters were way to thick, 6 mm, so I scaled them down to 2,5 mm.
