The wings are identical for left and right. You can install both the plate and the wings in 2 orientations to get the profile where you like.
Assembly is friction fit, but I recommend super glue once you are happy with the layout.

2 plates are included, depending on what sort of bolts and wheelbase you want to use. This is a handy add-on for sim rigs where the base is bottom mounted, but you want some extrusion for accessories like flags, brows, streamdeck etc.
