Print Profile(22)

Bill of Materials
Description
This is an example design by the CyberBrick Team.
Update Notice
- This version is released to help you get a head start on printing the physical parts. Description is subject to change.
- We recommend waiting until your Kickstarter parts arrive before attempting full assembly.
- The BOM will be updated for direct purchase once the parts are available on Maker's Supply.
- The CyberBrick Desktop and Mobile apps will be available for download starting May 15th to enable full functionality.
Purpose
This standard remote provides a universal layout for the majority of RC toy applications. All 3 of the official designs (Forklift, Truck, and SoccerBot) and many of the creator models that appeared on the CyberBrick Kickstarter used this controller layout.
You can reprogram the core controller to use it for different projects instead of printing and assembling a new remote for every new project.
Note on Batteries:
Please use AAA alkaline batteries to power the remote. Using carbon batteries may cause connection failures or repeated restarts and other malfunctions due to their low current supply.
Alternatively, you may use the Lithium Battery variant of the remote provided as an additional print profile. It will offer a significantly longer battery life than the AAA battery variant.
Tips for Creators
If you are a creator looking to use this official remote controller, you can use the picture below as a template to indicate your key binding.
You can always create your own remote controller for better functionaly or appreance, and we recommend providing a similar layout diagram in that case so the users can learn about your key binding.

BOM Purchase
Notice that the BOM listed for these official models is the list designed for assembling one vehicle (any of Truck/Forklift/SoccerBot)
and one official remote. There will be parts unused when you put them into one vehicle, but this gives you freedom to swap to another official project, and the total price of the kit is significantly lower than if you purchase all the parts independently.
Not suitable for children under 13 years old. Minors should be supervised by an adult when playing the CyberBrick toys.
