Description

I made this compact clamp for my Shure microphone (MV7+ in my case) to save space on my desk and mount it cleanly off to the right side. It’s designed to face left, so if your mic sits on the right of your workspace like mine, this keeps the mic pointed toward you without needing an arm.

The clamp screws upwards into place using a solid screw-on design—no tools needed once it's printed. It's meant for thinner desks (this version fits ~32mm thick surfaces), but I’ll be uploading a larger variant soon for those with chunkier setups.

It’s probably too specific for most, but if anyone out there also has a Shure mic and limited desk space, maybe this will help. I’m happy to tweak the model for you—just message me if you need a thicker clamp, left-facing version, or anything else!

Want to tweak it for your own setup? I’ve also included the Fusion 360 file so you can easily adjust dimensions, change the angle, or remix it however you like. Just make sure to share what you come up with—I’d love to see it!
