Description

This model is a prop that keeps the accessory compartment lid open in a 2019+ Sprinter van. Since many USB and power connections are located in this compartment, it can be inconvenient to leave the lid open. This prop allows you to keep the lid open just enough to allow cords to pass through while also covering the opening to keep things tidy. The file prints in five pieces that must be glued together for final assembly. I have included STP files to modify if desired.

*updated to v2, more refined fit, revised connections for side shrouds, revised lid catch for a more positive latch, and redesigned cord ports for a more aesthetic opening.

Once I did the search from my computer instead of my phone, I was able to download the STL file and print it with my A1! thank you! T

Snug fit! Beware printing in PETG, due to the high heat near the windshield this will deform. Trying ASA/PC next.

Yes! The little tension clips on the bottom help. Is that a vs30? Dash looks a little different than mine.

Fits perfectly in 2021 Sprinter 2500 (VS30, 907, OM642). Super super super awesome! I printed mine in PLA as a test fit. I'll let it run/rot in the sun and report back how long it lasts. Then I'll redo it in PC. One note, be sure the printed clips fully seat into the receptacles on the car. If they aren't fully seated the lid latches won't retract far enough to disengage, making it hard to open. This is not a design issue; it's an install issue that is easy to do right if you know you need to. Just push the clips all the way down until they click in place.

Any chance this could be modified or downloaded for an A1 printer? I didn’t see the STP file.
