Description

An angled laptop stand made specifically for the Asus Zephyrus G14 (2024). The advantage of this design is that it separates the exhaust heat from the intake air to increase thermal performance, while also lifting the laptop up to give more room for the cool air to enter the intake fans. I also included cutouts where the bottom-firing speaker grills are so it doesn't muffle any sound output.

I recommend printing out of PETG to reduce chances of warpage during use.

Assembly just requires 10 M3 screws, max length of about ~30 mm, designed for socket head caps.

This could likely fit the G16 as well, if the “Back” and “Middle” pieces were scaled to the right size. I don't have one to measure and test fit though but feel free to try it out.

Did you happen to do any before and after testing of thermals to see if there's an appreciable difference?

I didn't take any data, but I also had no comparison with other stands as a control. 3Dmark and other benchmarks of course perform way better compared to it sitting flat but that's a given. Just by feel, with this stand the air in the back is very hot compared to the very cool air at the intake area, so it feels like a safe bet that not sucking in that hot air should make a difference for thermals.
