Zwei Druckplatten, eine mit der Falzmaschine, eine mit dem Falzbein. Das Falzbein ist seperat, weil es hochkant gedruckt werden muss. Hat bei mir immer geklappt, nur aus Vorsicht einzeln – vielleicht vorher die Druckplatte reinigen. Alles Teile mit Variablen Layerhöhen und superglattem Ironing.

Wenn man Klappkarten basteln möchte ist die größte Herausforderung das Knicken der Karte. Mit der Falzmaschine ist das ein Kinderspiel. Sie hat zwei Anschläge, für DIN A4 oder DIN A5 Bögen die dann in der Mitte gefaltet werden. Mit dem Falzbein (auf der 2. Druckplatte) kann man in der Führungsrille die Falz ziehen. Die Falz wird übrigens auf der Außenseite gezogen. Dabei werden die Fasern des Papiers verlängert, dass man einen perfekt sauberen Knick erhält. Auf den Bildern sieht man eine DIN A5 und eine DIN A6 Karte, die mit der Maschine gemacht wurden. Die eine Karte ist aus einer alten Geschenktüte ausgeschnitten, die andere aus einem Versandbriefumschlag von A.. – Recycling vom Feinsten!Die Führungsschiene ist mit 2xM3 x 10 mm verschraubt, es geht aber auch Sekundenkleber oder gut festhaltenBei häufigem Gebrauch, würde ich das gedruckte Falzbein (den Griffel) allerdings mit einem echten aus Knochen ersetzen. Creating folding cards presents a significant challenge: achieving a crisp, clean fold. This scoring tool makes the process effortless. It features two stops, accommodating DIN A4 or DIN A5 sheets for precise center folds. The bone folder (on the second pressure plate) glides within the guide groove, creating the fold on the exterior. This process elongates the paper fibers, resulting in a flawlessly sharp crease. The images showcase DIN A5 and DIN A6 cards produced using this tool—one cut from an old gift bag, the other from a shipping envelope—a testament to exquisite recycling!The guide rail is secured with two M3 x 10 mm screws; however, super glue or even a firm hold will suffice.For frequent use, I recommend substituting the printed bone folder (the stylus) with a genuine bone folder.
