Boost Me (for free)

Give this design a boost, if you want to support my work.

A simple little fidget toy - Teenage approved.

Models are tested using Bambulab A1 with PLA Matte.

If you use any other material or printer you may need to tweek the print profile.

All moving parts has to be broken free with a little force (not to much).

Just use as intended :)

The only drawback is the gear teeth, which didn't print correctly, likely due to the PLA filament adhering too well and fusing together, but the rocker and press fit components worked flawlessly (Voron 2.4 printer)

This is terrible, I printed 2 copies because I was going to try and sell them but neither of them worked. I read the description and it said use some force. I got the joystick to come out easily but it took a lot of force to get the button and it gets stuck every click anyway, the gear never even worked, I tried couldn’t do it and my dad couldn’t even do it. OVERALL 0 stars if I could.

What printer did you print on? What brand and type of filament did you use? Did you use the profile provided or did you modify it?

I used an A1 as well with the Bambu PLA Basic - Black. I printed 12 of them and of them, two had completely fused click wheels, and one of those two the click button on top didn't actually click or move at all. The remaining prints have an issue where they will click down but have to be manually reset in order to click again. Personally I feel this model could do with some tweaking either by us the community or the creator.

hey this print is bad but the possible issue for yours is the filament may have not been dry enough, or the bed needs to be cleaned with a damn cloth

did the multi color print of 6 units for 14hrs! came out great. all fidgety parts worked. it did take some doing to release the button and wheel but do it with gentle pressure and it’ll work like a charm!

Don't forget to separate it into pieces, as there might be problems generating the G-code

printed pretty good, a little hard to seperate the buttons and rolly thing

Printed well on A1 Mini with PLA matte. However, only the joystick functions properly. The button very easily gets stuck, and I wasn't able to free the gear, even with gloves. More force would likely snap it (as shown in other comments lol)
