Why not reuse the cardboard sides from a cardboard spools ? If you donât have any spare sides, you can simply cut them from any piece of cardboard. ( Like mine square spool, form refill box )Â
Print this lightweight 81g adapter (Insert + 2x Screw), and use it as a refill spool. I designed an adapter that is light, prints faster than creating entirely new sides, and requires no supports.
It is universal: the same screws fit every size. Just pick the size you need for your refill.
Available sizes:
83mm In case you need for different brands: Anycubic / Creality
82mm size is typical ESUN/BambuLab/Polymaker/Elegoo
81mm is a loose version for using a spool with straps
This adapter is not compatible with the AMS lite system and can only be used on an external spool holder or AMS.
