Description

Here is my revision of the surface pro headphone band and TPU pad replacement. I have tried several of these from different sites but could not find one that would last. I tried printing replacements with ABS, PETG, Nylon and they all end up breaking. Finially I settled on PCTG for the band and 90A TPU with lighting infill and 2 walls for the pad. I wear these every single day since I bought them and so far this perticular combination have been the only set that has lasted. I didnt include any of the other garbage that is inside the factory headphone band like the foam pad or the plastic guide rails. You could add some CA glue to the TPU pad and PCTG base, but I have not seen a need for it.

So far I have been very impressed with PCTG as long as its printed correctly. Also there is a little post processing cleanup for the TPU, but again if its printed correctly, it turns out great!. I hope this helps someone out there with a similar issue. It was getting frustrating to say the least.
