Teacher Appreciation Trophy (customizable w/o AMS)

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, I designed this customizable apple trophy.  It measures approximately 7.5" in height and 4.25" in width.  It can printed on the A1 Mini and does not require an AMS or glue!  While I designed this print for a gold silk apple, you can choose your preferred filament and even do a multi-color print if you have an AMS.

The trophy consists of four components:

1. The pedestal (with a space for the plate and a built-in dowel for mounting the apple).
2. The apple.
3. The customizable plate.
4. Two small dowels for attaching the plate.

To customize your plate, enter the slicer and find Plate.stl and select the part named “Teacher Name.”  From the toolbar, select “Text shape."  Navigate to the “Input text” field and enter your recipient's name.

Once all components are printed and the supports removed, it is simply a matter of mounting the apple on top and using the dowels to add the plate to the front.  Glue should not be necessary but can be used to form a permanent bond.  Avoiding glue may be preferable so that you can replace the apple should it become damaged.

IMPORTANT:  The apple stem is very fragile.  Take care when removing the supports.  If it breaks, have no fear as a tiny dot of glue will allow you to repair it.  You will also need to remove the supports from the hole underneath the apple.  Recommend using tweezers to tug on the edges until they come out.
