This model is a reinterpretation of the classic Benchy, inspired by the eerie and atmospheric world of the video game DREDGE. In the game, the boat is your only lifeline—used for fishing, exploring, and surviving through unsettling waters filled with supernatural secrets. I wanted to capture that essence in a compact, detailed design that keeps the charm of the original Benchy but adds a more mysterious, story-driven twist: glowing windows, sturdy features, and a slightly ominous silhouette.

I'm a big fan of fishing games, and DREDGE really stood out to me with its blend of fishing mechanics and cosmic horror. That unique combination sparked the idea for this model—perfect for fans of the game or anyone looking for a creative alternative to the usual Benchy to test printers or show off a unique piece on their shelf.

The model is FDM-friendly, prints in one piece, and doesn’t require supports. You can even paint the windows with glow-in-the-dark or fluorescent paint to simulate the eerie lights cutting through the fog—just like in the game.
