#0151 Mew Inspired Pokeball

Description
Normally in these descriptions I include a little bit of in universe lore about the Pokemon they are inspired by, but in this case the real world history of Mew is just as fascinating. Originally Mew was never supposed to be present in the code of the Gen 1 games. However after the game was marked ready to ship, the developers removed the game's debug features which freed up JUST enough space in the memory for one more Pokemon. Even though Nintendo had directed Game Freak to not make any more changes to the game code, Shigeki Morimoto put in Mew as a Pokemon that would exist in the code but never appear. The reason Mew is almost entirely pink is due to the fact that there wasn't enough space to add color in this original version.
