The target must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or its hit point maximum is reduced by a number equal to the damage taken. This reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. The target dies if this reduction lowers its hit point maximum to 0.
Notes:
This spectre is a relatively weak creature, suitable for low-level encounters.
The “Life Drain” ability is its primary attack and can be dangerous if players are not careful.
Its incorporeal form grants it considerable mobility and the ability to traverse obstacles.
