Including three plates that I tested with my P1S but should work with anything else. Found that 12 copies of either the male or female portion was the max the bed could handle comfortably. I also found that orienting especially the faceplate face-side down (into a PEI plate) provided the most professional looking finish. My print photos are using a SUNLU HF PET-G as their courtyard is pretty shaded and it has worked well for me in the past. The model prints quickly so you can tweak quality settings to get the right finish that works for you (highest default quality setting vs strength setting had a difference of ~1 hour printing the full 12 unit plate). Pegs have .2mm clearance and stick together quite well but if you&#39;re looking for a more sturdy finish, you could always throw some super glue down once you press them in.

My mom’s boyfriend rebuilt some outdoor stairs using Trex, but the exposed edge faced their kitchen window and looked unfinished. I designed this simple two-part endcap system—a peg bracket that mounts easily, and a snap-on faceplate to clean up the look. No tools needed after install, and it hides screw heads for a cleaner finish.  Works well for standard Trex deck boards. Print in PETG or ASA for outdoor durability.
