Complete set of Star Wars-themed chess pieces, with integrated 18x5 mm magnets. The pieces are:
- Rebels
- R2D2 (pawn)
- Yoda (king)
- Princess Leia (queen)
- Ackbar (bishop)
- Luke Skywalker (knight)
- Han Solo (rook)
- Empire
- Stormtrooper (pawn)
- Darth Sidious (king)
- Lumiya (queen)
- Darth Vader (bishop)
- Darth Maul (knight)
- Boba Fett (rook)
I have remix Anubis_'s chess set to add magnets and curved labels, as it was not obvious which piece played which role. You can find his original design on Thingiverse.
Notes
- Print with easy-to-remove supports, but be careful with Boba Fett's antenna, it can break easily when removing them.
- Pause at layer 46 to insert the 18x5 mm magnets.
- Printed with a 0.4 mm nozzle: the result is very good. I haven't tested with 0.2 mm, but I assume it would offer more detail, at the cost of a much longer print time.
- Printed in PLA.

Instructions
- Print with supports.
- Pause at layer 46 to insert the magnets, then resume printing until the end.
- To be used with a chessboard compatible with magnets (see my design: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1388328-modular-chess-board-4-pieces-w-embedded-magnets ).
Considerations
- If you do not wish to use magnets, remove the negative cylinders in each piece and also remove the print pause.
