Description

Made this nail polish business card type keychain for my self employed nail artist girlfriend, it has a hole and an automated pause( so it will pause by itself at layer 9) to add an nfc tag (25mm) in which she added her business instagram as a test but the options are so many when using the "nfc tools" app. Made the picture myself then used the keychain tool in makerlab to turn into a keychain thingy.

Printed upside down for 2 reasons, first i wanted the design to be on the build plate so it has that texture shine and second, i wanted the nfc logo and letters on the back to be a little bit raised so you can feel it when you touch it.
*The logo and letters are added separately because if merged the slicer makes the colour start way below and you waste time with changes just for the logo , this way it changes for the 2 last layers saving you time and material.

Colours: Need 5 colours but ONLY 1 AMS is fine.
*with ONE AMS: choose 2 colours that have a similar shade but one is darker. Set the ams to start with grey, white, black and the lighter one ( in my case normal red). Check your slicer to make sure it starts by printing that part first (see picture) and when the slicer asks where will the 5th colour be (darker) set it to same slot as the lighter (like in last picture). Then when it makes the first change to black, swap the lighter red to the darker red. When that is done after the 1st layer you can either leave it the darker on or change back to the light and leave that for the rest of the print, depending on how you want the rest of the print (back) to be, darker or light.

Colours used: White, grey and normal red are ELEG pla+ , darker red is esun fire engine red or ELEG pla pro burgundy red. Black is bambulab basic pla.
