Description
One of the front suspension struts of one of our son's Nikko RC cars broke, making is impossible to steer the car. Instead of throwing the car away, I designed a simple replacement strut based on the original strut.
Verified to fit the following Nikko RC cars, but may fit others as well:
- Nikko Pro Trucks
- Nikko Dino King
PLA seems to work OK, I have not had the one I printed in PLA fail, but I have added profiles for both PLA and PETG. Due to there being small spherical and round features printed perpendicular to the layer lines for strength, I printed it with the smallest layer height of 0.08 mm, but bigger layer hights may work as well. Printed with snug support to build plate only and and 0.3 mm support/first layer gap
