Description
Samsonite! I was way off!
Mary Swanson's briefcase from the classic movie Dumb & Dumber! Printed at 1:2.6 scale of the original Samsonite briefcase used in the film. This is easily one of my favorite movie props of all time! Modeled in Rhino 3D and printed on my X1-Carbon. I used some artistic license due to limited reference photos and the scale of the print. The briefcase is also solid and does not open or function.
All parts were printed in Bambu Lab PLA basic black, with the briefcase body itself being printed at 15% infill with 3 shell walls. The other parts were all printed at 100% infill on quiet mode due to their tiny scale.
The painted parts were painted with acyrlic markers and everything was glued together with superglue and accelerator.
The I.O.U was just a napkin cut down to a small square, painted with some watered down brown acrylic paint and an ink pen.
