Axle Tube Brake Line Clamp - Pivot/Lock Design
Print Profile(1)

Description
Hello and thanks for checking out my design!
This is a simple brake line clamp to hold a 3/16" brake line on a 3" axle tube. It is designed a bit large (3.025") to allow for excess powder coating thickness, because, let's face it, if my axle hadn't have been powder coated I would have probably just welded on a traditional brake line clamp.
*Each clamp takes a pair of 3mm allen screws (10-12mm long) and a couple of 3mm nuts, that should be a very snug fit into the part.
**The clamps print with some “sacrificial bridging” modeled in, so you'll need a 3mm (3/32") drill to clean up the holes.
***You may have to play with the scaling a bit to fit your specific axle tube; it's better to be loose, and wrap a piece of friction tape around the axle, than it is to be too tight and force/break the clamp.
****This is near the exhaust so it's gonna get hot.
*****If you use ABS it's going to shrink, so you'll need to scale it up by a percent or two…
And look, if you need a different size, shoot me a message. I'm not making any promises, but I like to help people out when I can.
