X1 X1C riser remix with magnets (original designer allows remixes)

INTRODUCTION

I have been searching for a simple riser for my X1C, no light, simple, fast and easy to print. Found the design by krazyderek, and I added Ø6x3mm magnets to improve the hold on the X1C metal frame. The original designer allows remixes, so don't go report license infringement before doing due diligence. I have also included these step files of my remix.

Ø6x3mm magnets - 14pcs (18pcs optional)

INSTRUCTION

• single plate print. no support is needed.
• I use PLA. It's a riser to vent the enclosure heat, so it not going to get hotter than 40C.
• Takes around 2.5 hrs to print.
• Magnets are press fit.
• Holes are designed to be Ø6.1mm with chamfer. It's tight-fitting. I use a rubber mallet to tap the magnets in.
• There are 2 optional parts for the front and back.

As with all my designs, Prototyping and testing were conducted to ensure printability and meet my own expectations. However, I understand it may and may not work for you. I would request that you read all instructions and print and install them at your own discretion.
