Celestron EdgeHD C925 Tri-Bahtinov mask
Print Profile(1)

Bill of Materials
- M3x6 bolt x 9: Can likely use M2.5 as well
Description
Since i wasn't entirely happy with the existing tribahtinov masks available, i decided to create one fit for my telescope. This mask is purpose made for my EdgeHD C925 to allow for collimation and focusing.
Some enhancements over existing generic tribahtinov masks:
- Exact fit for the Celestron EdgeHD C925 (note that i have not tried this with fastar/hyperstar, although it should work)
- Finer slits. Most masks i saw come with the generic slits, this one is made for use with the reducer and a higher bahtinov factor, increasing the quality of your spikes
- Comes with a mask for your mask, so you can use it either as a regular bahtinov mask, or to detect the screw to adjust. No more using fingers like a hobo.
- It's chonky. Most other masks i've seen were paper thin making the slits very fragile or they'd slip and fall off or change position. WIth a thickness of 5mm and a weight of 120 grams it'll stay in place, and you can toss it in your bag without risking it getting damaged or bent.
- Can be used as a competitive frisbee with speed holes in case of clouds.
Installation
Attach the three plates using M3x6 bolts (or M2.5x6 depending on your printers accuracy).
Usage
Place the mask on your OTA and align the three notches with your collimation screws.
If using the mask cover to align screws one by one, they are conveniently numbered so you don't forget which one you were working on.

The mask has slight notches to lock your cover in place so it does not inadvertently rotate during use, to rotate the cover simply lift it up slightly.

Boost Me (for free)
Feel free to remix this to adjust it to your own OTA size, the f3z has been included. And ofcourse if you like this print, don't forget to boost, as a new maker it would be greatly appreciated.
