📦 Compatibility

• ESR MagSafe Charger: Both Variant 1 and Variant 2 fit easily into the piston
• ESR Qi2: Slightly thicker, but with higher charging power – also fits, but is a tighter fit

I have added four different piston models for this MagSafe stand so that it perfectly fits different cases

1. Piston for QI1 with step – suitable for cases with steps in the camera area
2. Piston for QI2 with step – also for cases with steps in the camera area

1. Piston for QI1 without step – for flat cases without steps
2. Piston for QI2 without step – for flat cases without steps

This allows you to flexibly adapt the stand to your case and always use the appropriate variant

1. 🔩🔧 Assembly Instructions

2. Route the USB-C cable through the piston
3. Carefully warm the charging puck (MagSafe) cable slightly with a hairdryer, then gently press it into the piston
   → I didn't use any glue – it holds up for me even without it
4. Screw the connecting rod to the base plate – for this use 2x M6 socket head screws, 45 mm long
5. Insert the first circlip into the piston
6. Now hold the piston to the connecting rod and push the pin through the piston and connecting rod
7. Install the second circlip
8. Attach cable clamps and secure the cable

9. Finally, insert the three piston rings – and your racing-style charger is ready 🏁⚡

11. Material: all PLA (I'm a beginner :-))
12. Layer height: 0.2 mm
13. Infill: 20–30%
14. Supports: Required depending on printer and orientation, for the piston I used Bambu PLA support which is super easy to remove

Update “Apple MagSafe 15W”

I have added two models for the “Apple MagSafe 15W”. The first version is designed for cases with a step, for example, if the camera protrudes and would interfere when placed down. The second version is the flat variant, suitable for slim cases without a step

Included are

1. Model for cases with camera step
2. Model for cases without camera step

I have planned a tolerance of 0.3 mm so that everything can be assembled easily. If you find it too loose, I will gladly adjust it to 0.2 mm

Important When attaching the MagSafe, briefly warm the cable at the exit with a heat gun so that it is flexible and no cracks occur during assembly
