Description

This is a custom-designed 90° rotatable adapter for selfie sticks, created to allow smooth rotation of your smartphone holder between portrait and landscape modes. It’s ideal for creators who need quick orientation changes while filming.

🧰 Main Features:

  • Enables 90° rotation of the phone holder
  • Compatible with most selfie sticks
  • Compact and precise design with tight tolerance between joints
  • Lightweight yet highly durable

🔩 Hardware Needed:

  • 1x M3 nut
  • 1x M3 bolt, 15 mm length

🧵 Filament Compatibility – Critical Requirement
This part features tight internal gaps and thin walls in the hinge area, so filament choice is crucial for mechanical reliability.

✅ The only filament that passed my durability tests is Bambu Lab PA6-CF (carbon fiber reinforced nylon). It offers:

  • Excellent layer adhesion
  • High impact and torsion resistance
  • Heat stability for outdoor or extended use
  • Compatibility with precision mechanical applications

⚠️ I tested and excluded the following materials due to breakage or delamination:

  • PLA, PETG, ASA, ABS
  • Even PA6-

If you like my model boost me for more projects

  • -GF (glass fiber-filled nylon) failed under stress
    📌 Only PA6 with carbon fiber reinforcement provided the strength needed for repeated use.

🖨️ Print Settings:

  • Material: PA6-CF (carbon fiber only)
  • Infill: 100% recommended
  • Orientation: Print flat as shown
  • No supports required
  • Use a hardened nozzle (abrasive filament)
