Sardinian Matracula
Print Profile(1)

Description
SA MATRACULA IN SARDINIA. Years ago, for example, on Good Friday, the sound of sas matraculas resounded in all the streets of Sardinia. It is a device consisting of a rectangular wooden board, with an elongated opening near a smaller side that allows it to be gripped. There are different types, but the most widespread is the tractola with handle. This instrument was used by children in the days preceding Easter, in place of bells.
Print my ancient model revisited in a modern key, assemble it and have fun making noise by turning it.
