Cow – Realistic Model

Project Description
This detailed 3D-printed cow represents a classic dairy cow in a natural standing posture. It was printed using a silky, golden-brown PLA filament that gives it a high-quality, slightly metallic shimmer.

Design Features

  • Realistic Anatomy: The cow is anatomically accurate – featuring a well-defined head, horns, udder, and typical body proportions.
  • Standing Pose: The figure stands securely on all four legs, making it ideal for display on flat surfaces.
  • Filament Choice: The silky PLA gives the surface a smooth, glossy look – perfect for decorative use.

Recommended Print Settings

  • Material: Silk PLA or standard PLA for easy printing and solid detail.
  • Layer Height: 0.12 – 0.2 mm depending on the desired level of detail.
  • Infill: 10–15% is sufficient for a stable figure.
  • Supports: May be required under the head and belly depending on print orientation.
  • Scaling: The printed version shown is approximately 12–15 cm long – but can be scaled up or down freely.

Use Cases

  • As a decorative animal model for farm or rural-themed dioramas
  • As an educational or visual aid in school or learning environments
  • As a gift or miniature for animal enthusiasts
