Magic Kettle

Today I’m bringing you a super fun 3D printing model — the Magic Kettle!
The amazing part? This one kettle can pour out two different liquids! Isn’t that unbelievable? ✨

This magic kettle works based on a very simple principleair pressure!
The inside of the kettle is divided into two separate chambers, and there’s a small air control hole on the handle. By pressing or releasing this hole, you can control the flow of liquid, allowing two different liquids to be poured from one single kettle. Pretty amazing, right?

🔧 Here are some important printing tips:

  • Waterproofing and sealing are crucial for this model!
  • Recommended settings:
✔️ 5 wall lines for strong wall thickness
✔️ Enable ironing for the top layers to reduce leakage
  • For sealing, you can use:
    ✔️ Rubber bands
✔️ Cut a circular piece from a balloon — this has worked best in my testing
  • I also tried printing a gasket using 95A TPU, but the results weren’t great.
If you have a better sealing method, I’d love to hear your suggestions!
