This project commenced in March and concluded in May, demanding a significant investment of time and effort. The currently uploaded version contains minor imperfections, such as missing components. For assembly instructions, component diagrams are provided for now, with video tutorials forthcoming on a video platform. The model’s assembly difficulty is moderate; the current color-separated version presents a more challenging color scheme and part integration. A single-piece version will be released subsequently for user convenience.

The creation is based on extant archaeological records and Song Dynasty architecture. Due to the complex layering of the Kaifeng City ruins, the Xuande Gate site remains unexcavated. Therefore, the spatial layout is designed referencing the concurrently excavated Yingtian Gate site (a model of Yingtian Gate will also be created subsequently). The overall architectural style primarily references Emperor Huizong's "Auspicious Cranes" painting, supplemented by bell relief patterns housed at the Liaoning Provincial Museum. It should be noted that this bell relief exhibits distortions in form, such as incorrectly depicting a hipped roof as a gable roof. The bracket construction draws inspiration from the Jinci Temple's Saint Mother Hall, utilizing real and false brackets on the main and intermediate columns; however, given the small scale of the components, this detail may be difficult to discern. Roof animals and other architectural details are directly taken from the "Auspicious Cranes" painting, resulting in a meticulously researched piece. Any omissions are welcome to be pointed out in the comments section.

Future plans include an optimization patch to integrate crane elements from the "Auspicious Cranes" painting, employing mechanical design for added functionality, hence the current lack of a base.
