AMS 2 Holder for H2 Series

Hello my 3D printing friends! 😊
My new toy has finally arrived!
After a short time, I realized: This printer unfortunately doesn't make much sense with only one AMS. 😩
So I immediately ordered a second AMS. When it arrived, I faced the next problem: Where do I put these two big parts? 😅

I searched Maker World for a suitable model – but none of the existing designs convinced me. They were either too unstable or consisted of too many parts that had to be glued. And when both AMS units are equipped with four spools each, they weigh a hefty 10 kg – that should not be underestimated!

So I rolled up my sleeves and designed my own model:
Super sturdy, only three parts, and everything is screwed together – no gluing needed!

During the design, another idea occurred to me: Where do I put all my build plates?
The obvious solution: I simply combine both! No sooner said than done – and that's how this model, which you see here, came into being. The model offers space for a total of 5 build plates – practical and space-saving!

💡 Don't let the print time deter you – it's a big part, but a big printer also needs big accessories!
Convince yourself of the stability and quality!

The model fits all H2 models: H2D, H2S, and also the H2C. With the H2C, the plates are a bit narrower and have a bit more space on the left and right, which is normal!!!!

There's an extension to this model: I've developed drawers for the left and right sides that you can customize individually. You can print either empty drawers or those with spare part inserts for up to 4 complete nozzles. Feel free to check it out – you can view the model at the following link. 😊

Note on the change to the plate holders (front and rear):

Hello everyone,
there is an important change to the front and rear plate holders!

I ordered new accessory plates via AliExpress, which arrived today. Unfortunately, I found that these plates are almost twice as thick as the original plates.
The original plates have a thickness of 0.7 mm, while those from AliExpress are 1.3 mm.

In the original model, the slots were designed for 1 mm – so the new plates unfortunately do not fit.
For this reason, I have now adjusted the slots to 1.7 mm, so that the accessory plates can also be used.

I am very sorry for everyone who has already printed the parts.
If you want to use accessory plates, please reprint the two affected parts (front and rear plate holders).
