Description

I designed this model as an ergonomic stand for the Apple Magic Keyboard 3, since I found the default flat typing angle uncomfortable for extended use. This simple yet sturdy lifter elevates the keyboard to a 7° angle, significantly improving typing comfort.

The model consists of two supports that fit precisely along the bottom edges of the keyboard, securely holding it in place. It maintains full access to the power button and charging port, ensuring seamless functionality.

Key features:

  • Designed for Magic Keyboard 3 with Touch ID
  • 7° typing angle for improved ergonomics
  • Full access to the USB-C charging port and power button

Exactly what I was looking for Thank you very much for this model. Thinking about creating TPU feet to stop it from sliding around on my desk though.

A cutting board from Dollar Tree, painter's tape on the back of the keyboard as well as the stand and some super glue, and I finally have a simple but secure lap desk. Had looked at some much more complex solutions, but this simple design was exactly what I needed. Thanks.

I've been pushed into using a Mac Studio at my workplace as an IT Administrator so we can better manage it's Intune Platform SSO deployments. To better understand this I was given a Mac Studio M1 Max and this apple keyboard to use & administer myself. I immediately hated using the keyboard because it's so flat which felt incredibly unnatural to me. I found this 3d print and thought I'd give it a shot as my first actual print on my new P1S (which is why it's in bright green filament lol). This has worked wonders. I put some rubber feet on the back and now it's been my daily driver for about 2-3 months. I printed using the default PLA Basic Bambu Green filament.
