Description

This is an Insert for Age of Innovation (Feuerland Box)

As always, the focus is on functionality and support during assembly and play. However, Age of Innovation also has a lot of material and so the space is also not wasteful.

About the build:

There are different boxes, all belonging to one category.

A box with material is for the beginning of the game, where each player gets his material or there is a draft, which starting resources each player gets.

A 2nd box is for general game setup. Materials are contained there, where you randomly choose something at the beginning and the rest goes back into the box.

A third box holds everything for solo mode.

Then there is a tray for the competence tiles. These are to be mixed with the back and the strong back color and then randomly placed on a tray and flipped over. Then 3 more matching tokens are to be picked out and a stack of 4 tokens formed. I have been thinking for a long time how to simplify this. Each skill tile stack has its own small tray. All trays are then placed in a tray to make it easier to put in and take out of the box. The individual small boxes can then simply be taken out of the box, spread out on the tableau and the top tile is then flipped over and the set up is complete.

Then there are trays for each player with his material and a tray for the wooden pieces, which are neutral.

Last but not least, there are trays for the material that is needed during the game. As you can see from the pictures, I have created 2 trays of the most used material, so that you can distribute them on the table and each player has access to them. Here I really thought for a long time to make only one tray or to split the one still into 2 small ones. How to do it, means probably does wrong, but I found it good to have everything in one place.

At the bottom of the box you can find all the boards and the manual.

There are now 2 alternatives for the token trays:

Token_Tray_Big_1 and Token_Tray_Big_2 - these are the two larger, flat token trays.

Token_Tray_Small_1, Token_Tray_Small_2 and Token_Tray_Small_3 are three trays. One slightly higher and to be used centrally and two slightly lower ones that can be distributed on the table.

The insert was tested and designed with Gamegenic premium sleeves and has enough space for sleeves. I have also tested shaking the box, turning it upside down, storing it on edge, etc. Not a single part slipped on me and it looked very good.
