Description

This tray is ro assist in refilling speed loaders during competition. The tray fits into the bottom box that is used for storing empty brass.

Being just a functional part I printed these using the .28 Extra Draft profile.

Since these are absolutely freaking awesome I have another request. With everyone jumping on the (6) shot .32 H&R Mag J-Frames (432/632 Ultimate Carry) I would love to see this and the (2) load configuration like you did for the .38 special! Hopefully I generated some traffic to your page, I linked it in one of my revolver groups!

I'd never even heard of that one. I'll have to see if I can find someone who has one or even a speed laoder. Thanks for the suggestions, I enjoy building new things. Going to be uploading an extended base pad for a ruger SR22. Please keep the ideas coming and I will see what I can do.

HKS 32-J would be the speedloader. I'd gladly pay for a speedloader for ya!

One more suggestion for another one. I would love to see this in a 2 load configuration for desk drawer / nightstand duty.

I have it designed (was that simple to change) but have to wait until morning to print and upload it. Printer is working on another HueForge ;)

Printed great! Should work for the Ruger SP-101 and Ruger LCR in .38/.357 as well.

Why did they make the box longer than the charging board? Wouldn't it make sense anymore, you would make it so wide that it fits exactly and the box only so high that the shots don't fall out during transport? Regards

I was asked to make it this way so that during competition you take the tray to the line, seperate the two pieces. The bottom section then holds the empty brass. I'm honestly not sure how you are suggesting I do it. I'm always looking for another design to work on..... Thanks for the interest!

Yes, it's certainly good that the box can be separated from the tray for the empty brass cartridges. But it bothered me that the two trays weren't compatible in terms of size. I've now designed my own tray. It's now solved in such a way that the width has been adjusted and the height reduced. This allows the cartridges to be stored inside without them falling out. This way, you can prepare them at home. Before the competition, you can then separate the two trays and set them up separately.
