š Printed in basic PLA and tested with a standard rubber band (1-2 mm) ā setup is easy, and the result is pure fun. Whether youāre new to magic or just want to print something with flair, this wand delivers a little surprise in every snap!
š How to Set It Up (One-Time Prep) - Spoiler!
- Cut a rubber band (1-2 mm thick) in half to make a single long strand.
- Tie one end of the rubber band through the small hole in one of the wand caps. If you want to, you can use some glue to make sure the knot doesn't untie.
- Thread the band through the hollow wand body. (A thin marshmallow skewer or thin stick works great!)
- Tie the other end of the band through the hole in the second cap.
- Adjust the tension: The elastic should be slightly stretched so the cap snaps back into place when pulled and released. Youāre ready to go!
š How to Perform the Trick
Hold the wand near the bottom with your dominant hand, gripping it between your pinky and ring finger (your pinky should cross in front of the wand). Keep it casual ā wave it a little while talking.

- Briefly grab the top of the wand with your other hand.
As you do, slide your dominant hand downward and subtly trap the bottom cap between your pinky and ring finger.

Shift your grip upward so the rubber band is now stretched tight (out of view for the audience, since it's behind the wand).

- Turn your palm toward the audience.
Loosen your grip slightly ā the wand will jump upward or shoot from your hand depending on the tension!

- Take a bow. Youāve just performed a classic magical moment ā and it came from your printer. š
