Description

Bring the magic show to your fingertips! šŸŽ©āœØ This 3D-printable Finger Guillotine is a fun and surprising trick that creates the illusion of a finger being sliced — without any harm, of course!
Designed for easy assembly, it prints in three parts and snaps together without glue. Once assembled, you're ready to wow your friends with this classic magic illusion.

Features:

  • Print-in-place style: No supports needed
  • Snaps together easily without glue
  • Safe and repeatable finger trick
  • Perfect for magic enthusiasts and pranksters

Assembly Instructions: (reference the pictures above)

  1. Print all parts.
  2. Push the vertical slots together.
  3. Insert the assembled parts into the base.
  4. Test the smooth movement.
  5. Let the magic begin!

How to Perform the Trick:
The blade consists of two parts: a fake outer shell and an inner part. Here's how to use it:Ā
(there are also videos on YouTube explaining the trick)

  1. Show your audience that the blade looks solid.
  2. Insert the blade into the casing. You can even block the hole with your finger and demonstrate that the blade seems like one solid piece.
  3. "Prepare" the trick: firmly press the casing together, which separates the shell of the blade from the outer casing. Then carefully pull out only the inner part until the hole at the top is visible halfway.
  4. Ask your participant to insert their finger into the hole (or use your own).
  5. Push the guillotine closed — it should click when fully inserted. (Important: Make sure only the inner part is pulled out! Otherwise, the full blade can cause injury.)
  6. Open the casing to reveal the magic: the finger appears to be inside the blade — unharmed!

Recommended Material:

  • PLA for easy printing
  • PETG for added durability if used often
