I made some of animuL67's Slab Carousels and I was asked to redesign them to fit 35-point magnetic card cases, so that is what I did! I resized everything and redesigned the external and internal holders to hold the 35-point magnetic card cases pictured perfectly! Although things were resized, I retained the original bearing size from animuL67's design, so you will not need multiple different-sized bearings for both projects! The acrylic cases used are Ultra Pro 35 M2 as shown in the pictures.

This carousel spinner case is perfect for displaying your prized trading cards at home or at shows. It holds up to 16 PSA slabs, 6 on the outside and 10 inside. All slots are sized specifically for 30-point magnetic acrylic cases. The slots are secure so the acrylic cases don't move around much but are loose enough to protect and easily use the carousel. The internal slots are spaced for ease of access and to avoid rubbing on each other. These work as single units or can be stacked with the included optional parts.

4 bearings are required per carousel: 624zz is the generic bearing code, B-EA012 is the Bambu part number.

No supports required!

Assembly Instructions Correspond to the Numbered Pictures:

  1. Place the shafts from plate 5 through the 624zz bearings and center the bearing on the shaft. Place one in each of the slots as shown in the picture.
  2.  This shows the pieces from Plate 2, the base plate(large piece) and the securing pin(small piece)
  3. This shows how the base plate and securing pin fit together
  4. Flip the carousel upside down and slide the securing pin into the hole, carefully line up the base plate and apply pressure in the middle of the base plate while pushing up on the securing pin
  5. When assembled, you should be able to see the securing pin in the base plate, which allows the apparatus to spin
  6. This shows the lid assembly. The lid(right) from Plate 3 and the ring(left) from Plate 4 are upside down.
  7. This begins to show the overlap of the pieces and how they will fit together. Be sure the ring in on the opposite side of the lip which secures the lid to the base. The ring slightly slides over the lid. I recommend using a small amount of super glue to secure the ring. This will allow for a sturdier lid when stacking and spinning the carousels.
  8. When glued, the lid will look like this. Note that the pieces are flipped over from numbers 6 and 7

I can look into making it slightly larger. my recommendation would be scale it up to like 102-104% and reprint. I’d scale everything except the width of the pegs for the ball bearings as the ball bearings should still fit in the slot even with upscaling slightly.
