Welcome to my entry for the 10th Anniversary 3D Benchy Contest: the Bench-Tree Custom Treehouse! 🌳

Fully designed by me (with creative input from my kids), this print was modeled in Fusion 360 with some limited sculpting in Blender for the tree toppers. It requires no supports and prints across four plates. The Benchy prints in just 38 minutes and works great as a standalone model too.

⚓ About the design:

The boat features wood plank textures, giving me a chance to explore some tricky techniques in Fusion to mimic wood grain—feel free to message me if you're curious on how I did this! I also experimented with creating organic-looking branches directly in Fusion with tapered sweeps and 3D profiles. The tree topper leaves 🍃 started in Fusion and were sculpted in Blender for a bubbly, cartoon-style look. Extra touches include a ladder 🪜, a Benchy pirate flag 🏴☠️, and a tire swing—awesome suggestions from my kids. I'm really proud of the final details and had fun designing this! 🚢

Assembly:

• The assembly is easy –- the boat, ladder, leaves, and tire swing will assemble into the provided holes.
• I recommend laying out the leaves how you want them and then gluing into place. 
• The boat and tire swing can also be glued (especially the tire swing)
• My daughter added some color to one of the boats to help the boards “pop” a little bit more (shown in a couple pictures).
