flexible louver privacy screen system

Thanks to the great response from the community, I have further developed my original movable louver system!
Here is now the simplified version, which is even more flexible:
👉 Each individual louver can be individually adjusted to three positions:

• Closed (vertical)
• Open (rotated 90°)
• Angled (inclined 45°)

Perfect for anyone who wants to adapt their privacy screen to the time of day, sunlight, or simply their mood! 🌞🌿

🛠️ Technical Details

🔩 Louver Holders

• The holder is designed to fit various louver thicknesses and widths:
  • Min. thickness: 10 mm
  • Min. width: 100 mm
• Recommendation: Use stable louvers (e.g., 10 - 12 mm thick) for extra longevity.
• When selecting the post holder, consider the angle at which you will later install the louvers. Therefore, there are 2 different post holders in the profile.

📏 Louver Spacing

• Make sure to maintain an appropriate distance between the louvers during assembly. This depends on the width of the louver. I use 100 mm wide wooden louvers. This results in a spacing of 105 mm (see example image).

  

• Sufficient space ensures adjustability to all 3 positions.

🔨 Screws

• Connection: Wood screws M4x20 and M4x35
• IMPORTANT: Please predrill!
  This prevents the 3D-printed material from splitting and ensures you enjoy your privacy screen for a long time.

🖨️ Recommended Printing Material

🌞 For outdoor use:

• ASA is the first choice!
  ✔️ UV-resistant
  ✔️ Weather-resistant
  ✔️ Resistant to cold and heat

👉 Alternative (only conditionally recommended): PETG or ABS

🔨 Bonus

I have also included a helpful tool in the profile. It is used to determine the center of the post or the louvers and to simplify construction for you. Take a look and see what diameter your dowels have so you don't have to print them all. Here it is sufficient to use PETG or PLA material to save costs.
