Cup Holder with Tray Organizer + Headphone Hook
Print Profile(5)

Description
Keep your desk organized, stylish, and spill-free with this multifunctional minimalistic drink holder!
This attachable desk holder fits desk edges up to 35 mm thick and holds cups up to 90 mm in diameter — perfect for larger mugs, coffee cups, drinks and bottles.
Fully 3D printable and easy to assemble/disassemble!
But it’s much more than a mug holder:
- Organizer tray at desk level for small items (keys, USB drives, etc.)
- Hook underneath to neatly hang headphones, cables, or anything else you want off your workspace.
Model options (4 print profiles):
- Two-piece holder with "MUG LIFE" and steaming cup graphic (pictured).
- Two-piece holder with only a large coffee cup graphic — no text.
- Two-piece holder with a clean, minimal bottom — no graphic.
- One-piece holder for an even simpler print.
Each version includes an adaptive balltip screw system for easy attachment and extra stability.
The two-piece dovetail connection makes it easy to replace only part of the holder if needed — perfect in case of print failure or damage.
This is the second, improved version of the design, made stronger and more functional after real-world testing.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Highly recommended to use the included custom print profile that has multiple modifiers and settings embedded.
- The picture model is printed in bambus PLA basic, and the model works great. For extra durability print with PETG or any filament of your choice!
- The assembly is very easy and secure:
- 1. Slide the two halves together (they only fit one way). The connection is snug — press firmly, mind your fingers!
- 2. Screw in the balltip screw.
- 3. Press the balltip onto the screw ball (tight fit).
!IMPORTANT! → Don't overtighten screw as it might damage the dovetail joint! ← !IMPORTANT!
Whether you need more desk space, want to avoid spills, or just want a cleaner setup, this holder is built to upgrade your desk life!
I designed it for my own small desk to keep coffee and clutter out of the way — and I really like it and use it daily!
FYI:
This is the second iteration after real-world testing of the original design. I improved the geometry, replaced heat-set inserts with a full dovetail connection for easy 3D printing, added structural ribs, and added a lot of modifiers for critical areas needing extra strength, in Bambu Studio.
Hope you enjoy it — feel free to leave a comment or suggest improvements!
