BetterBox

2 Part Hinge Double Storage Customizable Divider Storage Box

Not just for Bambu Lab parts! Makes a great jewelry box, too!

This box is designed specifically with A1 Mini users in mind! But of course any printer can print this. I received a lot of love for my BetterBox series but the main problem was that A1 Mini users couldn't print it because it was too big. I didn't want to leave you all hanging so I got to work to redesign the hinge so the box could be easily printed in two parts and to use a standard M3 screw to secure it. This works SO WELL! You can even adjust how loose or tight you want the box to open and close based on how tight you make the screw, very cool!

This box prints with “mouse ears” at the corners to help with adhesion to the build plate. Once printed, you can remove them with your fingers but it's best to use a deburring tool or utility knife.

Compartments:

Fully customizable! Use all the included dividers or print any of the ones you want plus more. Whatever you want to store, this box can accommodate. Please share how yours is arranged! There are litterally HUNDREDS of variations! Mix and match divider colors to help organize!

Flip Top Lid:

Allows for double the storage! The Flip Top prints on a separate plate and is super easy to install. When the Flip Top snaps closed it sits tight to the top dividers so even the tiniest screws won't fall out or move to another compartment! In short, your parts STAY where you put them!

Loved this storage box! I had already printed the bottom part of the 'hot-ends 2 part hinge' version when I found this flip top version of your box series. I printed the flip-top top part and it's fitting nicely. The flip lid stays in place even without the ends added on this bottom part. Boosted! Thank you, Screws will be improved soon... xD

Super handy Box for anything and especially for the Printer accessories. Printed in Bambu PLA White and Black. I had issues with the other version in wich the hinges are printed (they broke off when trying to open/close) so I gave this a shot and with the M3 screw its absolutely no problem.

Thank you, great box. I had to adjust some corners with a utility blade for my preferences, but it worked without that.

This version is way better! Thanks! However, there is room for improvement. Can you please make something to hold on the internal lid better? Right now because the thing I put are heavy, when I open the box the internal lid opens too and everything falls into the base,.

Thanks, glad you gave it another shot! As for the internal flip top, you might be able to increase the width of it in the slicer ever so slightly. By width I mean the dimension between the hinges and finger hole so essentially it will “jam” itself into the holder a bit more aggressively. And that would be a quick print to test with. Other than that, there’s a limit to what amount of weight that style of lid can hold. I’m just curious, what are you putting in that top of the box that’s so heavy? If I know then I can try some tests but in all honestly it will be a while until I can get to this, super busy at the moment!
