Description

Inspired by Canocholic's (https://youtube.com/@canocholic?si=20vHjvBLpdc7hR2L) air compressor designs.

Most of the non printed parts for this design can be bought on the Bambu Lab website.

Parts Needed:

(1) 40x36x126mm acrylic tube

(1) 4x6mm Tube (2m long)

(20) M3x8 Machine Screws

(3) 5x50mm Steel Dowel

(2) 625zz Bearings

(4) 36mm O Ring

(25) 10mm Steel Balls

(3) 6mm One Way Valves (https://a.co/d/bXFB9tL)

(4) Elbow Tube-Thread Connectors (https://a.co/d/ghAwxbN)

 

Cut one of the steel dowels down to 43mm then flatten the ends of each dowel with a Dremel like the image.

Cut the clear pipe in half using the pipe cutter like the image.

25 10mm steel ball can be pressed into the flywheel.

Put two O-Rings on each piston.

Lubricate the clear pipe with grease not oil.

The elbow connectors screw directly into the plastic caps. 

I filled the base with plaster and sand but anything heavy can be used.

 

I am still working on connecting the flywheel to a motor but it works well using a drill.
