Description

This is a support for the Weber Connect Grill thermometer

It's planned to  be clamped on the Weber Kettle Barbecue Leg (25.4mm / 1" diameter)

The Weber connect Grill is magnetic and I'm using it to support it by inserting a steel plate in the model.

Important notes:

  • There is a Pause set in the printing file at the layer 17 (Based on 0.4mm nozzle with 0.2mm layer height) to allow insertion of the plate during the print.
  • The available space for the steel plate is 73 x 65 x 2.5 mm, I recommend to use one a bit smaller that this and with a thickness should be ~2 mm
  • The metal you use must be working with magnet such as steel but no aluminium for example
  • There is no need for support but if for any reason you need to add some for printing make sure that there is none set in the space for the steel plate

The support is defined to be printed on the flat surface with no need for support.

I've printed it in PETG to make it more robust as it's stored outside.

Any other UV resistant material should be fine.

I hope you will enjoy it!
