Description
Plants vs Zombies is a puzzle strategy game developed by PopCap Games and released on May 5, 2009. Players must arm various plants with different functions to effectively stop the zombies from invading. Different enemies and gameplay create five distinct game modes, while obstacles such as night, fog, and pools increase the challenge.
Plants vs Zombies is a highly strategic game. Horrifying zombies are about to invade, each with unique characteristics. For example, the Buckethead Zombie boasts incredible resilience, and the Gargantuar can dig tunnels to bypass plants planted on the soil surface. Players defend against zombies by planting plants. Each of the 49 plants has different functions; for example, Cherry Bomb can wipe out all zombies within a certain radius, while the Chomper can devour the closest zombie. Players must strategically plant plants to target the weaknesses of different zombies—this is the key to victory. The game features five game modes depending on the style of play: Adventure, Mini-Games, Puzzle, Survival, and Zen Garden. Obstacles such as night, rooftops, fog, and pools add to the near-endless challenge.
