State of Delaware terrain
Print Profile(1)

Description
And we finally made it to the end with Delaware! Delaware may be the second smallest state, but it has a distinct and interesting geography captured in this 3D printable topographic relief model. The state sits almost entirely within the Atlantic Coastal Plain, making it one of the flattest states in the nation. The northern tip, however, rises into the Piedmont Plateau, creating a gentle but notable elevation transition near Wilmington.
This model faithfully represents Delaware's low-lying terrain, the gentle slope from its highest point (Ebright Azimuth at just 448 ft) down to the Delaware Bay coastline and the Atlantic beaches. Vertical exaggeration is applied generously to bring out the terrain details that would otherwise appear imperceptibly flat.
A unique and charming piece for Delaware residents, collectors of all 50 state models, and geography enthusiasts who appreciate every corner of the country.

This was modeled and printed with a 0.4 nozzle and I find the terrain details amazing already. Using a 0.2 nozzle may provide additional details but might not be worth the extra time taken to print. I have also uploaded a larger model in the same print profile which is larger than the scaled version. This is better suited for a one of display.
This is a big and detailed model, be patient when slicing. Please ensure your bed is clean for proper adhesion, a brim is not recommended as it will be a pain to properly remove due to the tiny curves/angles of the model. Ironing on for the best looking terrain!
