Description

Gardening auger for plants. Suitable for example for accu screwdriver with hexagon mounting

Printed without supports and material PETG. Do not print with PLA, it is not stiff enough.

Update:

I have created also the printing profil with horizontal print to improve the stiffness. But there the supports are needed!

Great design. I printed it in PLA, so i didnt expect it to last. I was pleasantly surprised that it lasted an entire day. 10/10 will print again :)

PETG is not stiffer though. PLA is stiffer, but is more brittle as a result. PETG can flex more which is why you will notice most people printing with it have better results. Still, it's not going to hold you up to heavy abuse by design, no matter the plastic as it's not metal. Some might work better than others like ABS, PET-CF, PPA, PC-CF, or other formulations, however don't expect it to last forever if you're going to hit rocks. Sand and softer dirt will probably be fine. This would be great in a pinch or for making a negative mould.

printed in PETG as recommended with intention to use it for one season - to aerate clay soil. I need it just in few areas of my lawn so buying or renting an aerator doesn't make sense. I tested it already and its great, with proper torque it makes hole in 1 second. definitely helpful!

I printed it in PETG. It broke after first use :(. I think its because of the vertical orientation

here is how you make this amazing take it back into blender make a new block put it over the print then make the block bigger then the part then use bool tools in blender to cut the shape of the print into the inside of the block save the cut and then cut the block in half and add a top hole that makes a Chanel from the print to the outside of the block now u have a mold you can 3d print out amd then fill with a much stronger plastic with out layer lines that break and you have a fully functional tool basically just told u all how to make 3d printed molds of anything u want and make then 1000x stronger and possibly last forever
