The retaining pin with the ball on my TP-Link Tapo C110 pool surveillance camera unfortunately broke off

Since I couldn't find a suitable replacement mount, I designed a new ball joint myself

The new solution is not only very stable but also provides the camera with slightly more robust protection

Perfect for indoor, outdoor, or poolside use

For outdoor use, I definitely recommend printing in ABS or PETG so that the material better withstands the weather. However, if you only want to use the ball joint indoors, you can easily print it from PLA

The connection between the base plate and the ball is glued with super glue after fitting the union nut, and then centered and secured with a 3mm plastic or sheet metal screw

Incidentally, this ball joint can also be used effectively for other applications

Perhaps the joint will also help others who have a similar problem

Enjoy it. I would certainly appreciate a little feedback

Enhancements / Changes:

16.10.2025 → Clamp nut added (requires 1x M3x16 mm screw and 1x M3 nut)
