Ditto Pattern Projector Tension Rod Cap (Tabletop)

So, you bought the Ditto Pattern Projector, possibly on clearance, only to realize that either your sewing table isn't the ideal shape to use it, or maybe you'd rather not have it on the ground blocking access to under-table storage?

The good news is that the bottom half of the tension rod by itself can extend long enough to reach a standard ceiling…however, it has that ceiling-hole-punching top to it, what to do?

I made this cap to solve this exact problem - it fits over the top of the bottom half of the tension rod, covering it smoothly, and includes an optional TPU pad that can be glued on (I recommend E6000!) for additional ceiling protection. It also allows the projector carriage to slide all the way up the tension rod, in case you need a little more height.

The shape isn't identical to the top of the pole, so it won't 100% blend in, but for a quick fix (it only takes a little over an hour to print both parts!), it's extremely functional and doesn't look completely out of place.
