This is my first release of a complete assembly project, so please offer guidance if there are any imperfections 🙏

First, this is a planetary gearbox (with a nema17 stepper motor) that looks quite familiar, as its dimensions are identical to commercially available products! Therefore, you can use it as a prototype for your own projects. The specifications are a typical 1:4 reduction ratio, with a module of 0.9 (I may produce higher ratio versions later, please follow me!)

What's the key advantage? You don't need any bearings to make it! Just a few 4mm steel balls, which I believe are more readily available to most. Print using PETG, as the gearbox requires resilience and wear resistance. It's recommended to print using my default settings for optimal results! This design prioritizes a compact structure while maintaining rigidity, and most importantly, requires absolutely no supports!

A little aside:

I initially designed a spur gear version, ensuring stable operation before attempting a helical gear, which proved more challenging than I anticipated. I spent nearly a month making adjustments and testing, mainly focusing on tolerances. The results are satisfying 👍

Assembly instructions are provided below; please be sure to read them carefully.
