Description

I have been printing with more filaments that have toxic fumes and odors and I wanted to be able to directly vent the exhaust out a window. This is the plenum with 4" and 3" flexible duct adapters. I made the adapters so the flexible duct can quickly and easily be removed by pressing on the two tabs that lock the adapters to the plenum. You will notice the air slots in the plenum, these are to help prevent drawing a draft through the printer possibly causing cool air to enter through gaps and causing your parts to warp. The goal is to exhaust any oders or fumes expelled from the printer. I tried to keep it low profile so you can keep the printer fairly close to the wall. Because of this, the 4" adapter is oval where the 3" adapter is round. The last couple of pictures shows the powered window exhaust that I have this coupled to…..This will be made available soon

I used the screws that stabilized the build plate during shipping to fasten the plenum to the back of the printer. Shorter screws would probably be better, but the diameter of those screws is correct for the top, bottom and right hole. The left hole you will need a longer screw, but you remove one of the back panel screws. I believe the original spare parts had the screw that I used.
